Reviews for Unfit Magazine, Vol. 2 Top reviews Harvey Bentine 5.0 out of 5 stars Based on how good the first issue was, I’ve been anxious to read this, the second edition of Unfit. Turns out its full of fabulous speculative fiction short stories, both by well-known authors and relative newcomers. If that’s your thing, I’d grab a copy. Chris Padar 5.0 out of 5 stars If you like speculative fiction, pick up this collection of short stories. Volume 2 in the series is a home run. Fantastic authors bring some fantastic stories in this latest edition. My only complaint is that some of the worlds seem so rich and developed, that I felt the stories could be longer. Looking forward to where Unfit takes us in 2019. — Reviews are already starting to arrive! Check back here later for more. *This edition features: Ken Liu – Cat Rambo M. Yzmore – David R. Grigg – J.B. Toner Michael Merriam – Tim Major – Eric Del Carlo Amazon Please remember to leave a re...

Reviews for Unfit Magazine, Vol. 1 Top reviews MR CHRISTOPHER FIELDEN 5.0 out of 5 stars I bought this on Smashwords. Being a lover of sci-fi and fantasy, I felt I had to check it out, simply due to the calibre of authors that are featured in the magazine. Ann F 5.0 out of 5 stars These stories are all solid science fiction, with clever concepts and appealing characters. Not all of them have original concepts, but the writing is professional and atmospheric. one-five-one 5.0 out of 5 stars Like a lot of people, I grew up with Star Trek (the original series) and Star Wars (1977 wow factor!) so I love science fiction in all its forms however it does all feel rather 'samey' and constrained by ou...

In Vol. 2 of Unfit, we take a closer look at the realms of cyberpunk and steampunk with a collection of stories which are both imaginative and convincing. In Cat Rambo’s post-apocalyptic story “An Algorithm For Fools” we look at the relationship between cats and survivors who struggle to make sense of a world on the edge of extinction. David R. Grigg brings us “The Great Circus Robbery” which takes place in a world where the internal combustion engine outpaces the steam engine. With “Toys, Going Home” by Eric Del Carlo, we follow the adventures of robot toys struggling to find their place in a world full of dangers. “Last Call on Lindisfarne” by J.B.
